Poor Time! If Time were a person, I feel like we pick on Time too much.
Who else has blamed Time for not getting things done? I know I have!
It’s time we stop bullying Time!
The reality is that we must stop blaming time as the reason that things didn’t get done and start taking responsibility that we didn’t prioritize them.
If there’s something important to you that keeps getting put on the back burner, take that as a HUGE red flag that needs to be explored.
Time is NOT why it’s not getting done.
You must start being honest with yourself the REAL reason why you’re not doing what you say you want to be doing.
Is it fear? Is it frustration? Is it that you really don’t want to be doing this at all but can’t bring yourself to admit it?
Brings me back to one of my favorite quotes:
“The moment you accept total responsibility for EVERYTHING in your life is the day you claim power to change ANYTHING in your life.”- Hal Elrod
Take responsibility for what you do.
Take responsibility for what you didn’t do.
Stop blaming Time for your lack of followthrough and start finding out the real reason why you’re not getting the things done that you claim are important to you.
The sooner you do that, the sooner you can have Time as your BFF instead of as your scapegoat.
Anybody else guilty of blaming Time for not getting things done?
